Question mark spring / pawl spring gear cogwheel.
This part comes in all Tomos models with 2 gears.
This spring regularly breaks, replace it timely and avoid damage done to your cogwheels and gears.
A broken spring can be noticed in several ways:
- Does your block rattle when rolling the rear wheel backwards?
- Does your block rattle when accelerating and braking straight after? (it is best to test this when the Tomos stands on its lower stand)
Tip:
Make sure that you take out all of the broken pieces of the spring from your engine.
Always replace the oil + gasket.
