Tip: Also replace the brake springs. This ensures that your brakes will not get stuck.
Clean your brake drum and anchor plate well with brake cleaner, and grease the axis (demount first) with heat resistant copper grease.
Sand the lining of the brake segments very softly with sand paper. Do not let the lining come in contact with greas(y fingers).
